What is SafetyFOCUS?
SafetyFOCUS is the place to gain in-depth training on important safety topics. While most safety conferences provide an overview of important topics, SafetyFOCUS is your chance to take a deep dive into the material that matters most to you.
Courses are taught by leading safety experts who will engage learners through thoughtful discussion, new perspectives and proven strategies. Learn skills you can apply immediately on the job, get resources to guide you and build a professional support network that lasts a lifetime.
Who should attend SafetyFOCUS?
SafetyFOCUS is for anyone in the EHS profession looking to expand their skillset in a specific safety topic, prep for their certification exam or earn an ASSP professional certificate. Topics include Business and Leadership Skills, Risk Assessment and Management and Safety Management Systems.
When is SafetyFOCUS?
March 1-5, 2027, in Las Vegas, NV
Courses will be presented in person in Las Vegas, NV. You’ll enjoy a complimentary lunch and refreshments each day you attend. Instructors will facilitate courses daily from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PT (Pacific Time).
Do I have to commit to the full week in order to attend SafetyFOCUS?

When is the last day to register for a course?
SafetyFOCUS courses are available for online registration until 48 hours prior to the course start date or based upon availability. Less than 48 hours prior to the course start date, please contact our customer service team at 847.699.2929 to register prior to showing up at the facility.

What does my SafetyFOCUS registration include?
- All course materials, including electronic copies of applicable materials in your ASSP My Learning Account (available 10 days prior to the course start date)
- CEU award (via transcript)
- Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks
- Complimentary lunch

How do I get my continuing education units (CEUs)?
To receive CEUs, you need to be present for each course from start to finish and participate in the learning activities provided. We will post CEUs to your ASSP transcript within 48 to 72 hours upon completion of a course. You may view the CEUs per course on the Courses page.
How do I access my transcript?
You will need to log in to your ASSP account at assp.org. Once you are logged in, go to My Account and Transcripts. This will bring up a list of all CEUs you have earned through ASSP. You can either view or download to print your transcript.
Are the SafetyFOCUS courses recorded?
SafetyFOCUS courses will not be recorded. They will be delivered at the scheduled date and time. Learners will have the opportunity to engage in group discussions, participate in learning activities and ask questions throughout each course while earning CEUs.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy
- All registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to customerservice.ASSP.org. Phone requests or verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
- If learning resources such as standards or videos are included in the registration price of your course and you access those resources using your ASSP My Learning account prior to the course’s start date, you will be ineligible for a refund.
- Cancellation requests received on or before February 1, 2027, will receive a refund of registration fees, but will be charged a $100 administrative fee.
- Cancellation requests received after February 1, 2027, including no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.
- Registration substitutions may be requested at no additional charge on or before February 1, 2027, and will be granted or denied at ASSP’s sole discretion. A $25 non-refundable administrative fee will be charged for approved substitutions.
- Requests must be submitted in writing to customerservice.ASSP.org and include the original registrant's name along with the substitute attendee's complete contact information.
- Substitution requests submitted after February 1, 2027, will be charged a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.
- ASSP reserves the right to modify the event, faculty, schedule, venue, or event format as necessary.
- Should circumstances beyond ASSP's reasonable control require the event to be postponed or cancelled, ASSP's liability is limited to the registration fees paid. ASSP is not responsible for reimbursement of airfare, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, meals, or any other incidental or consequential costs incurred by attendees. Any refunds due as a result of a cancellation will be processed within 60 days via the original method of payment. No administrative fees will be refunded.
- Requests for refunds after the February 1, 2027, deadline due to medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at ASSP's discretion. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
