Cancellation and Substitution Policy

• All registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to customerservice.ASSP.org. Phone requests or verbal cancellations will not be accepted.
• If learning resources such as standards or videos are included in the registration price of your course and you access those resources using your ASSP My Learning account prior to the course’s start date, you will be ineligible for a refund.
• Cancellation requests received on or before February 1, 2027, will receive a refund of registration fees, but will be charged a $100 administrative fee.
• Cancellation requests received after February 1, 2027, including no-shows, are not eligible for a refund.

Registration Substitutions

• Registration substitutions may be requested at no additional charge on or before February 1, 2027, and will be granted or denied at ASSP’s sole discretion. A $25 non-refundable administrative fee will be charged for approved substitutions.
• Requests must be submitted in writing to customerservice.ASSP.org and include the original registrant's name along with the substitute attendee's complete contact information.
• Substitution requests submitted after February 1, 2027, will be charged a $50 non-refundable administrative fee.

Event Changes or Cancellation

• ASSP reserves the right to modify the event, faculty, schedule, venue, or event format as necessary.
• Should circumstances beyond ASSP's reasonable control require the event to be postponed or cancelled, ASSP's liability is limited to the registration fees paid. ASSP is not responsible for reimbursement of airfare, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, meals, or any other incidental or consequential costs incurred by attendees. Any refunds due as a result of a cancellation will be processed within 60 days via the original method of payment. No administrative fees will be refunded.

Exceptions

• Requests for refunds after the February 1, 2027, deadline due to medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at ASSP's discretion. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

IACET CEUs

We are accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). We comply with the ANSI/IACET standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, we are authorized to issue IACET continuing education units (CEUs). To receive CEUs, attendees need to participate and complete all the activities and assignments for the courses they attend./p>

Consent

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, ASSP professional development, constitutes an agreement by the registrant to ASSP’s use and distribution of the attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio tapes of such events and activities.

Attendees also agree to adhere ASSP’s Code of Professional Conduct. ASSP reserves the right to remove attendees not behaving consistent with the Code of Conduct.

Groups

Bring five or more colleagues from your company and save on the entire event. The more attendees you have and the earlier you register, the more you save. Note: If cancellations reduce your group size and change your discount level, we will bill each registrant for the difference between the discount applied and the next discount level. Payment

You must submit a complete registration form, along with full payment, for us to process your registration. We accept credit cards and checks made payable to the American Society of Safety Professionals.
