What is SafetyFOCUS?
SafetyFOCUS is the place to gain in-depth training on important safety topics. While most safety conferences provide an overview of important topics, SafetyFOCUS is your chance to take a deep dive into the material that matters most to you.
Courses are taught by leading safety experts who will engage learners through thoughtful discussion, new perspectives and proven strategies. Learn skills you can apply immediately on the job, get resources to guide you and build a professional support network that lasts a lifetime.
Who should attend SafetyFOCUS?
SafetyFOCUS is for anyone in the EHS profession looking to expand their skillset in a specific safety topic, prep for their certification exam or earn an ASSP professional certificate. Topics include Business and Leadership Skills, Fall Protection, Risk Assessment and Management and Safety Management Systems.
When is SafetyFOCUS?
February 9-13, 2026: Courses Presented Virtually
Courses will be presented virtually via Zoom and taught live by an instructor. Instructors will facilitate courses daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CT.
Do I have to commit to the full week in order to attend SafetyFOCUS?
You do not. SafetyFOCUS offers the flexibility to build a custom learning path that supports your goals and fits your schedule. View the Courses page for an overview of all one-, two- and three-day courses.
When is the last day to register for a course?
SafetyFOCUS courses are available for online registration until 48 hours prior to the course start date or based upon availability. Less than 48 hours prior to the course start date, please contact our customer service team at +1 847 699.2929.

What does my SafetyFOCUS registration include?
- A digital copy of course materials will be available 10 days prior to the first day of your course in your ASSP account.

How do I get my continuing education units (CEUs)?
To receive CEUs, you need to be present for each course from start to finish and participate in the learning activities provided. We will post CEUs to your ASSP transcript within 48 to 72 hours upon completion of a course.- Half-day course = 0.5 CEUs
- One-day course = 1.5 CEUs
- Two-day course = 3.0 CEUs
- Three-day course = 3.0 CEUs*
* ASP and CSP are Three-day courses that are 2.1 CEUs.
How do I access my transcript?
To access your CEU transcript, you will need to log in to your online ASSP account. Once you are logged in, click on the My Account tab and Transcripts. This will bring up a list of all the CEUs you have earned through ASSP. You can either print or download your transcript.
Are the SafetyFOCUS courses recorded?
SafetyFOCUS courses will not be recorded. They will be delivered at the scheduled date and time. Learners will have the opportunity to engage in group discussions, participate in learning activities and ask questions throughout each course while earning CEUs.

ASSP Cancellation Policy
- We will grant full refunds to those who submit written requests within 10 business days of the start of the course to customerservice@assp.org
- Learners who register but do not attend their courses — or who attempt to cancel after the deadline— will not receive refunds.
- If learning resources such as standards or videos are included in the registration price of your course, and you access those resources using your ASSP My Learning account prior to the course’s start date, you will be ineligible for a refund.
- We charge a $25 processing fee for substitutions.
- Submit substitutions in writing within 10 business days of the start of the course by emailing customerservice@assp.org. If pricing for the new attendee changes the total cost of attending the event, we will charge or refund you the difference.
- If we must cancel a course or event for any reason, liability is limited solely to the registration fees paid.
Please Note:
- Participants registered for the Gravitec and ASSP courses “Safety Requirements for Full Body Harnesses” and “Personal Energy Absorbers and Energy Absorbing Lanyards for Fall Safety” who cancel 30 days or more before the course date may reschedule for a $750 fee. Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit the course fee. Please submit a written request to customerservice@assp.org.
