International Registrants Letter of Invitation
The visa letter of invitation, though not required for the visa application, can assist as a supporting document. Present this letter of invitation to the U.S. Consular Officer during the visa interview. This letter by no means guarantees admittance into the U.S., but can provide compelling evidence for immigration officials to consider. Please note that ASSP cannot intervene with either the U.S. embassies abroad or with the U.S. State Department on behalf of any participant.
To receive a customized letter, you must be registered for the education event you would like to attend and submit an email to customerservice@assp.org. Please include:
- Your ASSP member number, if applicable
- Full name as it is written in your passport following this format: First name/Given name, Middle name or Middle initial, Last name/Family name/Surname
- Employer/Company name and a brief description of what they do
- Job title and a brief description of your duties
- Full mailing address including city, state, country and zip or postal code
- Proper email address
- Your proper salutation (choose one of the following: Mr., Mrs., Ms., or Dr.)
- Why you would like to attend the ASSP education event that you are registered for
