Roundtable Discussion: How Amazon has Handled Working During COVID-19

Members of the Amazon team will discuss the many procedural/process changes and investments that Amazon has made to address safely working during COVID-19. This will include technological tools such as their Distant Assistant as well as changes to workspaces, allowing for social distancing.


Roundtable Discussion: APR in the COVID Era: Understanding How to Protect Workers

In this session, the Drager team will provide a presentation on air purifying respirators, followed by a discussion. The team will discuss how masks work, how effective they really are at filtering out particles (and a virus), review fit testing methodologies, and finally how to calculate a MAPF.

Roundtable Discussion: Respiratory Protection: Rules and Alternatives in a Changing World of Finding Protection

Discussion led by Mike Carroll, GSP and Todd Wheeler, CSP

The Grainger team will cover the challenges of running out of PPE, like N95s, and looking for alternatives. They will also discuss solutions that move organizations up the hierarchy using engineering, administrative controls, etc., which ultimately improve safety outcomes by reducing the probability of exposure to respiratory hazards through PPE alone.

A Lesson on All Things Wine

Nicholas Pruitt is a Chicago native that has worked in the service industry for over 10 years expanding his knowledge on beer, spirits, and of course wine. When he started working for a winery, he discovered his passion for wine and began his studies as a sommelier. His goal is to make wine approachable to people of all backgrounds and ages. He believes that there is a wine out there for everyone.

In this session, Nicholas will discuss how to:
